Important! To deposit NGN you will need to have a spendable balance in the NGN currency! You can create a spendable balance by following this guide: How to create a spendable balance?
Each deposit in Beans consists of two parts:
1. Deposit ticket: created in the Beans application, this ticket has a unique ID. You will need to specify how much you are depositing.
2. Bank transfer: Transfer the amount mentioned on your deposit ticket to the indicated bank address. Make sure that the amount transferred matches the ticket and includes your unique ID.
Note: The unique identifier, a mix of letters and numbers, helps link your deposit to your Beans account. Be sure to include it on the transfer, whenever possible.
1. Start your deposit by clicking on the deposit icon found on the top-left of the screen
2. Next, select the Naira as the deposit currency.
3. Then, select the "Bank Transfer" method and tap on the "Proceed" button.
5. Follow Link's instructions.
The process will take you to Link's deposit web page. Provide Link with all the required information, enter the details of the deposit to be made, and note the unique reference number that will be provided (VERY IMPORTANT!) as well as the Link bank account to which the transfer should be made. This unique reference number will be used in the next step.
The entry of personal data should only be done the first time a deposit is made.
6. Make the payment.
To finalize the process, be sure to send a bank transaction to the destination address provided by Link for the amount indicated in the previous step, INCLUDING the reference number you wrote down before (VERY IMPORTANT!). Without this reference, it will not be processed automatically and your deposit will be greatly delayed.
Note: due to bank delays, it may take from one hour to several days for the money to reach your Beans account. Please wait at least 24 hours before contacting support. Otherwise, please send your reference number and bank receipt to [email protected].
