Beans does not provide IBANs as your account is identified through your username. The IBAN numbers you will see/require in this process are those of your personal account - from which you will deposit in Beans - and that of our local partner Mykobo, to which you must transfer the money to be reflected in Beans. By following these steps you will fully understand its use.
Each deposit in Beans consists of two parts:
1. Deposit ticket: created in the Beans application, this ticket has a unique ID. You will need to specify how much you are depositing.
2. Bank transfer: Transfer the amount mentioned on your deposit ticket to the indicated bank address. Make sure that the amount transferred matches the ticket and includes your unique ID.
Note: The unique identifier, a mix of letters and numbers, helps link your deposit to your Beans account. Be sure to include it on the transfer, whenever possible.
1. Start your deposit by clicking on the deposit icon found on the top-left of the screen
2. Next, select the Euro as the deposit currency.
3. Then, select the "Bank Transfer" method and tap on the "Proceed" button.
4. Select the provider. In this case, you will only have Mykobo as an option. Then press "Deposit via Mykobo".
5. The process will take you to the Mykobo deposit web page.
Provide Mykobo with all the required information (name, last name, email, and IBAN of your account), enter the details of the deposit to be made, and write down the unique reference number that you will be given (VERY IMPORTANT!) as well as the IBAN of Mykobo bank account to which you will have to transfer. This unique reference number will serve you in the next step.
Filling in personal information must only be done the first time a deposit is made.
THE MINIMUM DEPOSIT IS 3 EUROS. PLEASE DO NOT SEND LESS THAN THIS AMOUNT.
6. Make the payment.
To finalize the process, be sure to send a bank transaction to the destination address provided by Mykobo for the amount indicated in the previous step, INCLUDING the reference number you wrote down before (VERY IMPORTANT!). Without this reference, it will not be processed automatically and your deposit will be greatly delayed.
Note: due to bank delays, it may take from one hour to several days for the money to reach your Beans account. Please wait at least 24 hours before contacting support. Otherwise, please send your reference number and bank receipt to [email protected].
