22 steps that help you through the app from start to finish!

In this example, we will be doing a deposit in EUR and a withdrawal in ARS, but you can choose any currency you want!
Tip: Living in Argentina? You can store the money in USD or EUR before withdrawing to maximise the benefits of using Beans!
This is an extensive guide, and all the individual steps are also broken down into smaller parts; Visit our knowledge base. Please carefully read any added comments, as these processes are always evolving and additional steps might be needed. Anyway, let's start!
Creating an account
1. First, start the signup process by pressing the "sign up" button.
Skip the referral section if you do not have a code, and read the introduction on how Beans works and operates. Press "Done" when you want to start the signup process.
2. Choose your username. Other users can use this username to send money to your account.
3. Fill in your email and provide the app with the verification code you will receive in your email
4. Next, find your phone's country code in the list of available countries.
Provide the app with your phone number and wait for the SMS to arrive with your code. You can resend the SMS every 30 seconds.
5. To secure your account even further, provide the app with a 5-digit PIN code, and a backup email address. These are NOT verified, so ensure they are correct.
6. Finally, choose your profile picture, the currency you want to deposit in and approve that you have read the disclaimer.
Your profile picture and default currency can be changed later!
Note: To save time and frustration, please make sure you select the currency you'd like to deposit in. Selecting a different currency might not show the deposit option you want later in the process!
7. Finish your registration and start using your Beans account!
Making a deposit
8. Start your deposit by clicking on the deposit icon found on the top-left of the screen.
9. Next, select the Bank transfer method, and tap on the proceed button

10. Select your desired deposit method from the available options
Note: Don't see the currency you want to deposit? Make sure you have a spendable balance in that currency; How to create a spendable balance.
11. You will be taken to the deposit page of our partner.
Provide our partner with all the right information, and finish the transaction by sending the money to the partner via a bank transfer (Important!)
Note: Because of banking delays it can take an hour to multiple days for the money to arrive in your Beans account. Please wait with contacting support for at least 24 hours. Else, send your reference number and bank receipt to [email protected].
12. To finish the transaction make sure you send a bank transaction to the destination address provided by our partner INCLUDING the reference number!
Without a reference, it will not automatically be processed and your deposit will be severely delayed.
Sending the money
13. to start a transaction, press "send"-button on the top of your screen
14. Find the username of the person you want to send to and tap on their username.
Note: You can find your own username by tapping on your profile picture. This person has to have a Beans account as well! They can create one following the first step of this guide.
15. (optional) Send a message with your transaction
16. Specify what currency you use to make the transaction with, and how much you are sending. Finish the transaction by sending the money!
Withdrawing the money
17. Start your withdrawal by clicking on the withdraw icon found at the top of your screen
18. Next, select the bank transfer method, and tap on the proceed button
19. Select the bank withdrawal from the available options
Note: Don't see the currency you want to withdraw? Make sure you have a spendable balance in that currency; How to create a spendable balance.
20. (optional) Convert any other currency you might have to your desired withdrawal currency
21. Initiate the transaction on the website of our partner.
22. Important! Switch back to your Beans app and send the funds to our partner!
Note: it can take up to 24 hours before the transaction is credited to your account, depending on the processing speed of your bank. Please wait 24 hours before contacting support.
