💸How to receive money

Receiving money on Beans is simple — it works as the opposite of sending. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Both users need the Beans app
   To receive money, both you and the sender must have the Beans app installed and set up.
   
   

2. Share your username
   Your username is what the sender will use to find you. You can find it by tapping your profile picture — your unique username will be displayed there.
   
   

3. You're ready to receive!
   Once the sender enters your username and confirms the transaction, the money will appear in your Beans account instantly.
   
   

That’s it — no extra steps needed. Just make sure you share the correct username.

No problem! If you've got the app but the person you want to send money to hasn’t installed Beans yet, you can still send them money via a link. Just:

• Tap on the Send button of the app

• Tap "Send by link"

• Share the link with the recipient
  
  

They’ll be prompted to download the app and claim their funds easily.
